Šukar on the International Roma Day, 08. 04. 2009
On the 8th of April, on the International Roma Day, the band Šukar will play in Izola. You are kindly invited to the concert, which will take place at 8 pm in the 'Kulturni dom Izola'. The band will accompany the dancing group Balerima. You can already buy tickets at the gallery Alga in Izola.

Romano Čhon/Month of Roma – Ljubljana, Maribor, 2nd – 24th of April,
2009
Slovenian Ethnographic Museum, Roma Academic Club Agim Brizani and ZULK
are the organizers of the first Slovenian Roma month, so called Romano
Čhon.
The idea of festival has its roots in the project Culture ways of Roma
Cultural Heritage, which was inspired by The European Council in 2008.
The aim was opening the broad European place to the richness of Roma
culture. And, if you are wondering, why the month of April – because the
8th of april is the Gypsy World Day.
The festival Romano Čhon will take place in Ljubljana and in Maribor.
The band Šukar will take an active part at the festival, by playing its
music on Thursday, at the 2nd of April, 8pm in the Tovarna Rog.

Friends for ŠABAN, 06. 12. 2008
On the great concert in Sava Centre in Belgrade on the 6th of december we will remember our dear friend Šaban Bajramović, who just recently passed away. In memoriam of Šaban Bajramović the band Šukar will perform together with singer Zoran Predin. On the same stage Esma Redžepova, Dado Topič, Luis and many other legendary musicians will perform, too. 70 musicians will at the end play together the legendary song of Šaban Bajramović »Đelem, đelem«.

The Key of Life, 18. 10. 2008
The Key of Life is humanitarian festival, dedicated to the Brezice Maternity Hospital. At the concert, which will take place at Mladinski center Brezice, the band Šukar will play, too. Entrance free!
