Concert on Lent in Maribor, 06. 07. 2008
Two years ago we last performed on Lent. Then we played with our dear friend Šaban Bajramovič, who just recently passed away. On our this year's concert we will remember him with some of his songs. You can see us at the stage of Večer and listen to Roma music and our last album Balkanska simultanka.
In memoriam to Šaban Bajramović, 21. 06. 2008
Our dear friend, Šaban Bajramović, passed away.
He was a singer and a composer, a Gipsy man, who knew how to bind people
with music. By being sincere in what he was doing, he impressed people
from all around the world, being Gipsy or not.
He can be a role model for every musician, as his music opus embrace 20
music albums and houndreds of songs. He was extremely productive Gipsy
musician. With his music he knew how to find a way to people's hearts.
Šukar are very proud, that we had concerts with Šaban. For us he is one
of the greatest of all times. We will always remember him, especially
when playing his music.
