International Roma Day, 08. 04. 2010

With music for tolerance, equality of rights and respect of human rights

In 20 years of playing Roma music have we, the band Šukar, been the proof, that different culture can peacefully be introduced to the broad audience in Slovenia and Europe. On our way we have meet a lot of people who with our help got to know Roma music better. Cast away the prejudice and come to our concert in Slovenske Konjice on the 9th of April. You are invited to the MC Patriot Hall, where we will play to honour the World Roma Day.

Mestni kino Metropol, Celje, 24. 03. 2010

Last year Zoran Predin celebrated the third decade of his musical performing. And now Šukar's twentieth anniversary is approaching. Together we enjoy to remember that 'Črna levinja', which is bringing us together all of the time. And she will seduce us all one more time - after 14 years in the cinema Metropol in Celje.

Thanks to all of our visitors at Dolenjska for a pleasant atmosphere at the concert, which we have created together on Saturday (see photo)!
We hope that we will meet again in LokalPatriot, maybe even in greater numbers, when we issue a new album at the 20 th anniversary of the group. The album is already in preparation.
